Le 25 Juillet 2005 Michael Jackson sort un Best Of : The Essential Michael Jackson qui regroupe ses plus grand succès !!!!

L'album "The Essential Michael Jackson" a fait son entrée directement à la première place des meilleures ventes de compilations en France pour la semaine du 24 au 30 Juillet 2005.

C'est dans ce classement des meilleures ventes de compilations que les instituts spécialisées Françaises ont décidé de classer la compilation de Michael Jackson pour le Syndicat National de l'Edition Phonographique (SNEP).

Biographie

Michael Jackson est né le 29 août 1958 à Gary, dans l'Indiana(USA)
Sa mère, Katherine est employée dans un magasin.
Son père, Joseph Jackson, est mineur et également musicien dans un groupe appelé The Falcons.
C'est un père violent et autoritaire, qui ne laisse rien passer à ses enfants.
Michael, ses 5 frères (Tito, Jackie, Marlon, Jermain et Randy) et ses 3 s½urs (Maureen, Janet et La Toya) sont élevés à la dure et n'ont pas beaucoup de libertés.
Ils prennent l'habitude de se réunir et de chanter tous ensemble.
Tito apprend la guitare pour les accompagner.
Leur père est furieux qu'il ait osé toucher à sa propre guitare mais en les écoutant, il pressent qu'ils sont doués et qu'ils pourraient se faire pas mal d'argent en formant un groupe.

In 1993 and 2003, Michael Jackson faced allegations of child sexual abuse, and was eventually tried and acquitted of these allegations in 2005.
Michael is the King of Pop, whose successful music career and controversial personal life have been at the forefront of pop culture for the last quarter-century. His music spans many styles, including R&B/soul, pop, disco, funk, rock, and hip hop. His innovations in popular music, and the music video medium have influenced today's popular singers.
